Here's a sneak peek of what to expect:

From the same Distillery Group of Companies that brought you The Distillery, Black Olive Cerveceria, Beso Cucina Vinoteca and Draft GastroPub--comes another cool resto-pub you'd surely love to hang-out and visit--Brew Haus Manila. Set to open at the now defunct restaurant called Off-the-Grid in Venice Piazza, Brew Haus Manila boasts of comforting sandwiches and classic old favorites with twists.

From breakfast to brunch to lunch to afternoon snacks to happy hour, Brew Haus Manila will be serving some of the best comfort food around. The menu is composed of uncomplicated meals and dishes.

Set to replace Off-the-Grid at Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill, Brew Haus Manila will have a line of comforting sandwiches which include Cheddar Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and Spiced Grilled Cheese with Potato Soup

They also have The Double or Triple Cheese Sandwiches. The Double--honest-to-goodness Mozarella + Cheddar Grilled Cheese Sandwich while the Triple--gooey melted Mozzarella, Cheddar + Bleu Cheese Grilled Sandwich. Chef Carlo Miguel's unique grilled cheese sandwich creations takes your good 'ol sandwich into a higher level.

For an All-American craving, there's the Grilled Cheese Beef and Caramelized Onion and the Grilled Cheese All-American--grilled cheese with a beefy Sloppy Joe spin.

Chef Carlo Miguel's Grilled Cheese Cubano Sandwich with tender pork and pickles is another revelation. Its sweet-salty notes plus the tangy pickle contrast gives off the creamy grilled cheese bursting with flavors in every bite. Such an exercise for the palate, but I'm giving it a two thumbs up!

Mac and cheese lovers also had two reasons to rejoice here at Brew Haus Manila. They will surely love the Grilled Cheese Bacon Mac and Cheese Sandwich and the Deep Fried Mac and Cheese Balls. They're complete meals in itself.

Also try the fiery Grilled Cheese Sandwich from Hell. It boasts of totally intense spicy peppers that perfectly complements the creaminess of the grilled cheese.

I loved the Grilled Cheese Chipotle Pulled Pork. Smoky and tender pulled pork + chipotle flavors rock. It sinks my teeth with its spicy kick and undeniably Southwestern flavors. The Philly-inspired Grilled Cheese Beef Steak with Onion Jam and Bleu Cheese is also a must-try. It is Chef Carlo Miguel's version on the classic favorite Philly Cheesesteak.

All Beef-Patty + Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Burger aficionados will certainly go crazy over All Beef-Patty + Grilled Cheese Sandwich from Brew Haus Manila.

Brew Haus Manila will also offer an array of salads, bar grubs and chows as well as main including Taco Chicken Salad, Taco Fish Salad, Asian Sweet Chili Chicken Salad, and Barbecue Cheeseburger Salad to name a few.

To go along with the carft beer, pair up with any of these bar grub: You have a choice of Brew Haus Manila's Nachos Asian Pulled Pork, Nachos Barbecue Pulled Pork, Chili Fries, or Chicken Garlic and Chipotle Cheese Fries. Whatever you choose, they're made to go well with a cold beer.

If you're not the adventurous type, you can always opt for the Nachos with Chili Cheese Bean Dip--it is also comforting. The Nachos are perfectly crunchy and crispy even after an hour it was served. Great to order when you have long convivial conversations with friends.

Their Fry Basket has all the works: beer-battered servings, chip crisp on the surface with an impossibly tender pure white fillet within. It's as good as the one I've had on the old British colony. Crisp golden brown to perfection chicken fingers, fish and chils served with three variants of dips.

More flavorful and comforting dish await with the Classic Fried Chicken. There's also buffalo wings and for the more adventurous foodie, touted as the spiciest wings in town: Ghost Wings. Let me warn you though, it's not for someone who does not enjoy spicy foods.

For the mains, Brew haus offers an impressive variety of rice bowls with Grilled Cheeseburger, Asian Pulled Pork, Chili Con Carne Rice, Salisbury Steak and Spaghetti Meatballs.

Make sure to reserve some room for dessert. Try their Vanilla Pot de Creme to cap off your hearty meal.
