Marikina City will get a taste of Spain this month as Song and Lydda's Food Service holds its first ever Eat-All-You-Can Paella Festival which will be held on November 21, 2014. It will be held from 5:00PM onwards. The said event, dedicated to unite paella aficionados and fellow foodies to promote the Spanish Paella dish. The event will be happening at the Kapitan Moy Main Hall, J.P. Rizal St. Marikina City.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Paella. Originally from Valencia, Spain, where it is traditionally eaten on Sundays, paella is now enjoyed the world over. Paella Lovers United is an Austin based group that loves Paella and holds an annual festival each fall. We welcome you to join in on all the fun.
There's going to be very good food, with different variety of Paella dish 6 types of paellas that will be made available for the foodies namely: SPANISH PAELLA (in tomato sauce with lechon and seafoods.), PAELLA NEGRA MARINARA. (in black squid ink sauce with seafoods.), INDIAN PAELLA (in curried spicy sauce with seafoods), CHINESE KIAMPONG PAELLA (with chicken pork adobo mix with pechay, gabi and peanuts.), KOREAN PAELLA (sweet spicy with sesame seeds and toasted pork ribs.) and JAPANESE GOMOKU GOHAN. GREEN PAELLA. (seasoned with herbs and variety of nuts).
There will also be plain rice, pork sinigang, and Ilonggo dish Kansi (soup with beef kneecap cooked in langka chunks and kamias). And there will also be a mini raffle draw wherein you might take home prices and souvenirs!
